What can I book on Fiji Your Way?

You can book cars, stays, tours, activities, airport transfers, and private transfer services from local Fiji hosts and operators.

Do I need an account to request a booking?

Yes. You can browse listings without logging in, but you need an account before submitting a booking request or using booking chat.

Do I pay the full amount online?

Usually no. The checkout collects an advance booking fee online. The remaining balance is normally paid directly to the host according to the listing's payment policy.

When is my booking confirmed?

Your request is sent to the host after checkout. The booking is confirmed only after the host approves it from their dashboard.

What happens if the host declines my booking?

If the host declines a pending booking, the system cancels the payment authorization for that request.

Can I cancel a booking request?

You can cancel a booking while it is still pending. Once it is approved, the listing's cancellation policy applies.

How do I know if my dates are available?

The system checks existing bookings and blocked calendar dates before checkout. If dates overlap with another booking or a blocked period, you will be asked to choose different dates.

Are prices shown with VAT?

Some listings include VAT in the listed price, while others calculate VAT at checkout. The checkout page shows the fee, VAT, total cost, and remaining balance before you pay.

How do security deposits work?

Hosts may require a security deposit when you arrive. This is handled directly between you and the host by the method shown in the listing or host rules.

Are international driver's licenses accepted for car rentals?

A valid driver's license from an English-speaking country is generally accepted in Fiji for short visits. If your license is not in English, you may need an International Driving Permit.

Can I message the host?

Yes. Once you have a booking, you can use the in-app chat connected to that booking to communicate with the host.

Can I contact the host outside the platform?

For safety and platform compliance, public listings cannot include phone numbers, emails, websites, or other direct contact details. Please use the platform booking and chat tools.

Can I leave a review?

Yes. After a booking, renters can review the host and, where applicable, the booked vehicle, stay, tour, or transfer experience.

Fiji Your Way is an independent booking marketplace. We help renters and hosts connect, request bookings, process platform booking fees, and communicate through the site. The host, operator, driver, property owner, or service provider is responsible for the actual vehicle, stay, tour, transfer, pricing accuracy, safety, quality, insurance, permits, deposits, refunds outside the platform fee, disputes, fraud, damage, injury, loss, or any other issue connected to the service they provide.

Please read the listing, host rules, payment terms, cancellation policy, insurance or deposit requirements, pickup details, and guest requirements before paying. You are responsible for deciding whether a listing, host, vehicle, property, tour, or transfer is suitable for your needs.
